Amanda du Plessis – Director / Principal

Amanda has been in sales since 1985, firstly working for a large banking group and thereafter owning her own Franchise, retailing light fittings.

She joined the real estate market in 2003 when she completed the EAAB exams and qualified herself as a property consultant. She joined a family owned agency, but aspired to having her own business and therefore started CAZ Realtors CC in 2005, and has been active in the Durbanville area selling and letting residential properties.

CAZ Realtors CC is well known in the Durbanville/Bellville area and as the logo states, Amanda builds lasting relationships with her clients.

As co-founder of House of Realtors and a long awaited dream come true, she is positive that House of Realtors will grow into a company that gives a platform for smaller agencies to network, and grow stronger and be more effective in the property market.

Tobie Le Roux - Principal

Tobie, a former B.Comm graduate of the University of Stellenbosch, started his banking career in 1976. He has 34 years’ experience in Business & Retail banking, as well as Home Loans. He was the Provincial General Manager for ABSA Home Loans in Gauteng, Gauteng North and Western Cape for 6 years. He had a successful career with ABSA and received several awards for Sales and Leadership. This also gave him an in-depth experience of Home Loan processes and legal requirements, Developments and Mortgage Bond Origination.

He’s been involved in the Property Market for the past 8 years, specializing in Residential, Commercial and Industrial markets. He worked for SEEFF before he joined the House of Realtors family. About 2 years ago he qualified as a Principal (Master Practitioner in Real Estate). His Team consists of Estelle le Roux (Full Status Agent) and Jacques Gelderman (Admin Assistant). Tobie has a passion for the Property Market and his team mainly focus on the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, although they have no specific areas and can give quality service on a National basis.
